On the bright side of the Road.
Okay, ’bout time for a bit of an update on this blog. I guess, I like to be very positive in my writing, as I don’t see the benefit of negative thinking.
At the moment, I am caught up in a twist of fate that has left me little time for online activity. I am doing some interesting things in the background, which might sooner or later surface on the internet, but for the time being it’s going to be pretty quiet.
Anyway Siopaeile is not going to die. The video above is from the philosopher Alan Watts which examines the notion of work as play.
And the art of Candice Johnson:
Dare to be different
I was ambling along and came across this sign.

I had to investigate. So I followed the path.

Then I came upon this Oriental vision

And a jolly Buddha

Soon, I met a wise man and he bid me look for the disconsolate one

So, I set off in search and came upon this sign, which claimed to know the essence of my being. There is wisdom in this.

And then I found her, in most sorrowful repose.

I said. “What ails thee so?” She sighed and said she could not see the beauty in life. I said, ‘you only have to look around’.

She spoke of black birds following her.

Twas true. They eyed me with intent

I said fear not, and brought her to a nearby Inn

Whereupon, we merrily ensconsed ourselves and wondered at the beauty of it all

The above adventure took place in the award winning Griffens Garden Centre in Dripsey, just 10 minute drive from Ballincollig.

Very busy month ahead of me. Interesting events on the horizon. So I’m going to be doing a season of videos. Lots of strangeness and philosophy on the menu like the one above of Carl Sagan.
